Graduating from dental school is a momentous occasion, and it deserves to be celebrated with portraits that capture your hard work and achievements. As a Philadelphia graduation photographer, I had the honor of photographing Emily, a recent graduate of Penn Dental Medicine. What made this session even more special was the adorable addition of her dog, Cannoli! He joined us for a few portraits in his very own miniature graduation outfit— a perfect match to Emily’s cap and gown.

Philadelphia’s Washington Square Park provided the ideal backdrop for Emily’s graduation session. The lush greenery and pretty pathways created a setting that highlighted both Emily’s accomplishment and personality. The light filtered beautifully through the trees, adding a natural elegance to each image.

Of course, the highlight of the session was Cannoli! Seeing him proudly wearing his tiny graduation cap was the sweetest thing. We took a mix of candid and posed shots, showcasing their special bond and the love they share. Cannoli certainly brought an extra dose of personality and charm to the photos!
